About Me
Hi! I'm Emunah (eh-moo-NAH).
As I dive into my art practice and connect with people and spaces that align with it, I've pulled together this landing page to grow along with me!
My art is primarily illustrative, but I also love to work on large-scale, public, interactive installations.
Currently, I work at a community centre building and facilitating LGBTQ+ programming. Academically, I'm stepping into a new role teaching a third-year Social Work course at McMaster University. My MSW thesis focused on grassroots activists and their practices of sustaining hopes and dreams of a better future - something I pour into my pedagogical approach and artwork.

I have built, maintained, and co-created space for communities I belong to, including queer, Jewish, Sephardic, disabled, neurodivergent, and others, along with various intersections of these identities and experiences. This work holds so much of my passion, excitement, and expertise.
As a disabled person who spent years working for a service run both by and for disabled community, I have insight and experience creating accessibility in virtual and physical spaces. I have done this in educational spaces, community gardens, and community centres.
